As their name would imply, Northen Nomads were a team without a home but started playing in the Manchester area and they were the winners of the F.A. Amateur Cup in 1926 beating Stockton 7-1 at Sunderland. The game was played at Cadby Hall Ground, Penny Lane, Liverpool. The referee was Mr B.L. Griffiths
